Benjamin Mendy was told "oh you sexy, I like your penis" by a woman who is accusing him of rape, he claimed in court.
Manchester City defender Mendy, 28, has been giving evidence in his rape trial at Chester Crown Court for a second day. His barrister, Eleanor Laws KC, has been questioning him about his alleged victims.
When discussing one of the complainants - referred to in court as Woman Ten - who accuses him of raping her twice during a party at his Cheshire home on August 23, 2021, Mendy said he had been at an event in Manchester city centre with his co-accused, Louis Saha Matturie, and his City team-mates Jack Grealish and Riyad Mahrez.
He and Grealish had joined others at a nightclub before returning to Mendy's house together. Woman Ten was also present and Mendy said he spoke to her before they went to an office, at which point he told her he wanted to have sex with her.

Mendy told the court "she said yeah" to his request. Ms Laws then asked him: "As far as you were aware, was she consenting?"
He replied: “One thousand per cent." When Ms Laws questioned “How do you know?”, Mendy said: “The way she was talking. She was like ‘oh, you sexy. I like your penis’.”
Asked if he spoke to Woman Ten after that evening, Mendy told the court he sent her a Snapchat the next day to ask if she had taken “the morning after pill”.
On whether she responded, he continued: “She said ‘yes, I’ve taken it’.”

Earlier in the day's evidence (Tuesday November 8), jurors heard Mendy admit to telling another of his alleged victims, Woman One, that he was going to "kidnap her" as a "joke". He also said that City had not been paying his salary since September 2021.
Mendy denies seven counts of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of sexual assault against six young women.
He's on trial with co-defendant Matturie, 41, who was an alleged "fixer" to find women for him. Matturie, of Eccles, Salford, denies six counts of rape and three counts of sexual assault relating to seven young women.
The trial continues.
