Gianluca Scamacca has been a revelation at West Ham this season after moving there in the summer - but he's yet to become as popular on social media as his big sister who helped raise him

Gianluca Scamacca has gained instant notoriety amongst West Ham fans since making his £30.5million move to east London from Sassuolo this summer.

But the 23-year-old striker's not nearly as popular as big sister and mentor Guily, despite making a splash at the Hammers. Scamacca's haul of six goals in 15 games has helped propel West Ham to the top of their Europa Conference League group this season.

However, his goals are yet to materialise into social media stardom where he's garnered 280,000 followers - a minuscule amount compared to older sibling Guily's legion of 440,000 fans on Instagram. Guily's amassed her wide berth of adorers by regularly posting saucy snaps flaunting her heavily tattooed figure.

The blogger also sets pulses racing in videos showing of her dance moves, trips to the gym, and glamourous life - often in just a bikini. And users can't seem to get enough of the West Ham star's kin.

Scamacca's social media profile is quite bland in contrast to his sister's. It's evident that the forward's main focus is playing football, which is depicted on his profile that predominantly consists of him participating in matches.

But Guily's not just a social media sensation, she's also partially responsible for keeping Scamacca on the straight and narrow, along with their mother, in the absence of his father.

The forward's dad, Emiliano Scamacca wasn't present in his son's life, leaving Guily and their mother to raise him.

The absence of his dad, caused Scamacca pain and he still doesn't like to speak about it. But he has touched on the sensitive topic, and the role Guily and his mother played in his upbringing.

He said: "It is painful for me to talk about this, but perhaps it is necessary. My father has not lived with my mother for a very long time.

"They aren't divorced, because they never married. I was raised by my mother and my sister, they are my family."

Guily even followed her younger brother to England after he completed his move to David Moyes' side. And Hammers fans will be hoping she can inspire her brother to fire the club to victory over Bournemouth on Monday night in the Premier League.
