Chelsea hero Kepa Arrizabalaga is engaged to Spanish beauty and Miss Universe winner Andrea Martinez.
The Blues goalkeeper has been a standout performer for the club in recent weeks after reclaiming his spot following the appointment of Graham Potter as manager. Kepa is also winning off the pitch, having popped the question to his stunning fiancee Martinez, who he is understood to have started dating during the early months of this year.
Martinez won Miss Universe Spain in 2020 and regularly wows her 62,000 Instagram followers with a blend of racy photoshoots and snaps from her travels with the Chelsea stopper.
They include pictures of the loved up couple, with Martinez celebrating their engagement with a short video post on her feed last month.
Meanwhile, Kepa shared his own post to announce that the couple were now engaged, captioning the upload: "SHE SAID YES!" As well as her Miss Universe win, Martinez is also a former basketball star and represented Spain at under-15 level.
Although Martinez is often seen cheering on her partner from the stands at matches, she was watching Sunday's win over Aston Villa from home, sharing a picture of her watching on television.
In the Instagram story upload, she joked: “The 9373929 stops that he is making,” and tagged Kepa. The Spanish star made seven saves as Chelsea claimed a 2-0 away victory, including an incredible triple save.
Kepa has played all six matches and kept four clean sheets since Potter's arrival from Brighton & Hove Albion, with the new boss still unbeaten in the Chelsea dugout.
Martinez is also vocal in her support of Kepa on social media and jumped to his defence back in February following the club's penalty shootout defeat to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final.
She encouraged fans to show their support for Kepa after he missed the decisive spot-kick and handed the trophy to Liverpool at Wembley Stadium.
Kepa has had a turbulent time at Stamford Bridge since Chelsea splashed out £72million to sign him from Athletic Bilbao in 2018. The 28-year-old remains the most expensive goalkeeper in football history.
