West Brom considering Rowett for manager vacancy
West Brom are on the hunt for a new manager after relieving Steve Bruce of his duties on the back of a dismal run of form. Michael Bridge (via Football League World) revealed that the Baggies are interested in interviewing the current Millwall boss.
The Sky Sports reporter said: "West Brom interested in speaking to Millwall manager Gary Rowett over vacant Head Coach role. Millwall yet to receive official approach from WBA.”
West Ham join Frattesi race
Davide Frattesi is the latest Sassuolo player to have caught the eye with his performances in Serie A. He could become the second player from the Italian side to sign for West Ham in the space of a couple of years if Calciomercato's report (via West Ham Zone) is to be believed.
Although, they will face competition if they do pursue a move with Roma and Manchester United among the teams linked with the 23-year-old.
Roma ready to compete with Arsenal for Luiz signing
Douglas Luiz is another player who could end up being a free agent in the summer upon the expiry of his Aston Villa contract. Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for him on deadline day but were unable to agree a deal with Steven Gerrard's side.
The Gunners will undoubtedly face competition for him in the summer if they are still interested and, as per RomaGialloRossa, the current Europa Conference League holders will be among the teams vying for his signature.
Bayern Munich line Thuram up as potential Kane alternative
Harry Kane is one of the players on Bayern Munich's wishlist for next summer, although he won't be cheap. If the German champions are unable to strike a deal with Tottenham for their star man, they may turn to an option closer to home.
According to TZ, Borussia Monchengladbach frontman Marcus Thuram has emerged as a potential target. Like Kroos, his contract expires at the end of the season so Bayern may favour a free transfer to bolster their attacking ranks.
Kroos set for new contract talks at Real Madrid (Florian Plettenberg)
Toni Kroos continues to be a key cog in the Real Madrid machine. His current contract is due to expire at the end of the season but there is a desire to extend his deal at the Bernabeu.
Florian Plettenberg has claimed that talks over a new contract until 2024 will begin shortly between Los Blancos and their German midfield maestro.
