Karim Benzema is seemingly on the verge of extending his Real Madrid contract. Writing on Twitter, Fabrizio Romano said: "Karim has already confirmed to Real Madrid his intention to accept the proposal and continue there until June 2024, so it’s just a matter of time.

"Florentino Perez, Carlo Ancelotti and the whole board are together on this decision."

Leeds set for transfer battle with AC Milan for Okafor
