Barcelona defender Gerard Pique won't consider retirement.
Marca says he hopes to reverse the situation and contribute to Xavi's team on the pitch and in the dressing room, as he has always done.
He is working hard so that his presence on the bench does not become habitual and is looking to put things right for Barcelona.
Pique is one of the players who is paying the price for the payment restructuring of the Barcelona squad.
The former Manchester United player has only played in two of the eight games Barcelona have played this season: six in LaLiga and two in the Champions League.
He has only played in the game against Cadiz in domestic competition and half of the game against Viktoria Plzen in Europe.
He is working hard in every training session to convince Xavi that he still has a lot to offer although, for the moment, Ronald Araujo, Eric Garcia, Andreas Christensen and Jules Kounde are ahead of him.
