Thomas Tuchel was dragged away from the pitch after Chelsea's 2-1 win over Leicester City in what fans have called a ‘sickening agenda' against the Blues boss.

His side fended off a late fight back from Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, overcoming an early Conor Gallagher red card to grab all three points. And it marked a wonderful afternoon whereby Raheem Sterling scored his first two goals for the club in the second-half.

But in footage posted on social media after the game, head coach Tuchel was bizarrely interrupted mid-conversation and seemingly told to leave the pitch rather than being allowed to soak in the post-match atmosphere.

Twitter user TheLampardView tweeted the clip with the caption: “Tuchel tried to come on the pitch AFTER full time and was immediately told to leave. The agenda is sickening.”

Another supporter quote-tweeted the video, writing: “Where is the common sense, the game is over.”

A third added: “So the game is finished. So he can't coach but still gets told he can't be on the pitch. Sick.”

However, other Chelsea fans were quick to point out that it was the Blues' own press officer that pulled Tuchel away into the tunnel, dispelling any ‘agenda'. It was pointed out that the German may have been encouraged to follow the correct protocol in an attempt to avoid further sanctions.

It comes after Tuchel was slapped with a hefty £35,000 fine after clashing with Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte earlier in the month. The two managers clashed twice during the heated London derby at Stamford Bridge with a bizarre hand-holding saga taking place at the end.

Tuchel was able to escape a one match touchline ban for the following game against Leeds, which opposition boss Jesse March argued didn't “seem right”. Chelsea went on to lose the match in a 3-0 drubbing at Elland Road.
