According to Dutch reporter Mike Verweij, Erik ten Hag's attempt to bring in Antony after the start of the new season has made Ajax very dissatisfied. If the Dutch coach moves earlier this summer, Manchester United may get Antony for a lower price.
United are currently believed to be trying to sign Ten Hag's previous player Antony from Ajax, but the Eredivisie club's asking price is said to be as high as 100 million euros.
According to Mike Verweij, Ajax were unhappy with Ten Hag's poaching of his former club, especially given the final stages of the summer transfer window. If the Red Devils made a decision to introduce Antony as soon as possible, then the Dutch champions may have released him for 60 million to 70 million euros.
