Reporter Andy Mitten says Manchester United have yet to have formal talks with Real Madrid over Casemiro's move.
His sources say Casemiro and his agent are aware of United's interest in the player and have not completely ruled out a deal.
The player himself has not yet made a decision. A key factor is whether he will become a major starting player for Real Madrid in the next two or three years. If he can, the player tends to stay in the team.
At present, the Red Devils believed to be chasing the midfielder, and some media said that the Premier League club are willing to offer a transfer fee of up to 80 million euros for the Brazilian star and offer the player double salary.
