Thomas Tuchel poked a little fun at himself by flexing his muscles for the cameras during his post-match press conference after getting into a scuffle with Tottenham manager Antonio Conte.

The Chelsea boss was all smiles as he explained what happened, insisting that both he and Conte had "enjoyed themselves" amidst the handbags.

"I just compared it to two players who had a bit of a fight on the field, but nothing happened and nobody got injured," Tuchel told reporters after the game. "It's Premier League football and the two managers got involved today because both of us are fighting for our teams, and that was it.

"Nobody got insulted, nobody got hurt, we didn't have a fist fight so for me it's not a big deal … it was such an intense match, both dugouts are very close so it got a bit heated."

When asked if he enjoyed the skirmish, Tuchel replied: "Yes and I think [Conte] enjoyed it as well."

The managers initially argued following Tottenham's first equaliser - a goal Conte celebrated by rushing over to the Chelsea technical area, though Tuchel got his own back a few minutes later by sprinting down the touchline past his opposite number when the Blues re-took the lead.

Things got really heated when the two shook hands at full time, with Tuchel refusing to let go of Conte's arm when the Italian chose not to look him in the eye. The incident saw players and staff members from both teams rush in before referee Anthony Taylor dismissed both coaches.

To further stoke the flames, Conte then uploaded a clip of Tuchel running past him for Chelsea's second goal to Instagram, along with the caption: "Lucky I didn't see you, making you trip over would have been well deserved," as well as three laughing emojis.

Chelsea travel to Tottenham on February 25. You'll probably want to pop that one in your diaries.
