7M Exclusive - Man Utd look for NO.2 Goalkeeper

Manchester United have increased the transfer budget given to the team's number two goalkeeper to around £7 million, according to The Athletic.
After Dean Henderson left for loan, Manchester United are looking for a new NO.2 goalkeeper and have increased the transfer budget from £1 million to £7 million as well.
In addition, Erik ten Hag wants a goalkeeper who can really challenge De Gea, and if a target is found, the money needed will be higher. Illan Meslier could be seen as a long-term replacement for De Gea, but Leeds United have no intention of selling the 22-year-old goalkeeper this summer.
Manchester United currently have two goalkeepers in their first team squad, De Gea and Tom Heaton, with De Gea being the No. 1 goalkeeper. It is said that Man United's initial plan was to pay around £35,000 a week for a new goalkeeper, but now the wage budget has also been increased to meet Erik ten Hag's needs.
Watford goalkeeper Bachmann had been linked with Man United but the deal has not materialized so far. Maybe it's not easy for Man United to find a good challenger for De Gea.
