7M Exclusive - Arsenal eyeing Moussa Diaby

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has approved the club's purchase of Bayer Leverkusen star Moussa Diaby, according to football.london.
Mikel Arteta wants to sign more players before the transfer window closes, with a midfielder and a winger already on the agenda.
The report says the Gunners have expressed interest in Moussa Diaby, with Bayer Leverkusen valuing the 23-year-old at around £60m. Leverkusen's asking price could be a barrier to a deal if Arsenal want to get the deal done.
Another problem for Arsenal is that the team failed to qualify for the Champions League last season, which to some extent reduces the attractiveness of the team.
Diaby, who had previously rejected Newcastle's offer, said of his future: "I have made a decision and I will continue to play for Bayer Leverkusen next season."
The striker scored 17 goals and provided 14 assists in 42 games of all events last season.
