Manchester United are still interested in bringing in Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic, as the Red Devils hope to strengthen their front line. Meanwhile, Man Utd are also in talks with Red Bull Salzburg to bring in talented Slovenian youngster Sesko, although the Red Devils are not willing to meet the Austrian club's £55 million offer for the 19-year-old striker.
Chelsea and RB Leipzig are also very interested in Sesko, with the young striker scoring 21 goals in 29 games during his loan spell with Austrian second division side FC Liefering in 2020-21. Last season, after returning to Red Bull Salzburg on loan, Sesko scored 11 goals in 37 games. This season, on the other hand, he has scored two goals in three games.
In the 2019-20 season, Kalajdzic scored 17 goals in 36 games with Stuttgart. However, he suffered from injuries last season. In the current situation, Manchester United has only two candidates in the center forward position, Martial and Cristiano Ronaldo.
