Jurgen Klopp made one fan's day when the German signed a massive tattoo of himself on his leg after Liverpool's win over Manchester City.
The Reds conquered the Premier League champions with relative ease after a 3-1 victory in the Community Shield at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Trent Alexander-Arnold grabbed the opener after a slight deflection of Nathan Ake.
Argentine striker Julian Alvarez came off the bench to equalise on his debut but Darwin Nunez also came on in the second-half to wreak havoc. It was his header that was handled by Ruben Dias that saw Liverpool given a penalty shortly after City had scored.
Mohamed Salah netted from the spot with power before Nunez got himself on the scoresheet with seconds left to send the Liverpool fans into raptures. As referee Craig Pawson blew for full-time, all that could be heard was the Uruguayan's name belted out across the Leicester stadium.
While some might denounce the Community Shield as a friendly, to those that claim victory it means a whole lot more and that was evident as the Liverpool supporters celebrated. Klopp went over to share in their glee and met one fan who had a huge tattoo of the German on his leg.
Jurgen Klopp gladly obliged when asked to sign a tattoo of himself
The Reds manager obliged when the supporter lifted his leg over the stand and asked if he could sign it before posing for pictures with him. It was just one joyous scene among a million more as the players lifted the trophy for the first time under the former Borussia Dortmund coach.
Klopp said: "I liked the game a lot, but most of the time City games against us are cool to watch. We don't always win but they are entertaining. I was happy with our start of the game, but every sub made a difference. The boys are ready and it is good.
"We played the smarted passes. We saw Darwin Nunez in dangerous situations. He used the spaces and finished well, too."
