According to journalist Alex Pintanel, Barcelona are on the verge of signing Jules Kounde and the transfer is closer than ever to completion.
According to previous media reports, both Barcelona and Chelsea are interested in making a move for Sevilla's 23-year-old centre-back Kounde this summer, with Barcelona reaching an agreement in principle with Sevilla over the weekend and the player willing to join them. Alex Pintanel has further suggested that the deal for Kounde is being finalised and that Barcelona are closer than ever to signing him.
Kounde, who is contracted to Sevilla until 2024, played 3 goals and 1 assist in 44 games last season, playing 3,746 minutes.
