RB Leipzig finished in the top four of the Bundesliga last season and still have been very competitive.
Besides, RB Leipzig are not at a disadvantage against English teams in European games.
However, RB Leipzig have not made any signings, so the squad is basically unchanged from last season.
On the other hand, Liverpool have improved markedly since Klopp took charge in 2015.
Liverpool have splashed out on SL Benfica's ace striker Nunez this season, but he failed to score in the last 2 friendly matches. However, Liverpool's other players form is getting better, and the team comfortably beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in the last match thanks to two veterans Henderson and Salah.
The two teams had only met twice in the Champions League the previous season, when Liverpool won over RB Leipzig 2-0 in 2 legs. Now the gap between both sides in strength is getting larger.
Given that RB Leipzig have not played a competitive game recently and are in poor form, Liverpool are expected to win.
