Memphis Depay could be set for a Premier League return with Tottenham
Barcelona have slapped a £20million price tag on Memphis Depay - which Tottenham Hotspur could be willing to pay this summer.
Barcelona have bolstered their attacking options this summer, with the acquisitions of Raphinha, from Leeds United, and the imminent arrival of Robert Lewandowski. And with the Polish forward expected to take the No.9 shirt, Barca could move for Memphis.
The Catalan side have named a £20million price tag, but Antonio Conte, according to SPORT, has made an offer of £17million. However, that approach came before the Catalan giants decided to move on the Dutchman, and Spurs could swoop in again.
Spurs have already made one signing from Barcelona this summer: in the form of French defender Clement Lenglet.
Lenglet, who struggled to break into Barcelona's starting side last season, has joined Spurs on a season-long loan. The Frenchman could struggle for game time when he returns to Catalonia with Barca also picking up Andreas Christensen over the summer.
Depay could be Spurs' sixth signing of the summer: following Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster, and Lenglet.
Memphis has already turned out in the Premier League for Manchester United - in a less than successful spell.
The Dutchman found his feet again at Lyon, earning him a move to Barcelona last summer.
