Barcelona's midfielder De Jong has yet to confirm his future and would like to move to Bayern Munich, according to Spanish daily Sport.

Barca want to sell De Jong in exchange for a fee and free up salary space. The most attractive offer to Barcelona comes from Manchester United, but de Jong has no interest in playing in the English Premier League. He chose Barcelona over PSG because he had already ruled out English clubs.

Manchester United and Chelsea have been linked with De Jong. The player has ruled out a move to Manchester United, but a move to Chelsea has not been ruled out.

In fact, the real attraction for De Jong is Bayern Munich, which he believes has a similar style to his former club and can compete for the Champions League, and is likely to be reunited with his close friend Matthijs de Ligt.

The problem, however, is that Barcelona boss Alemani and Bayern Munich have a bad relationship because of the dispute over Lewandowski's transfer.

If Bayern Munich need to sign a midfielder, De Jong has a chance, otherwise he may stay at Barcelona. Xavi has no problem with De Jong, the player knows he still has a place at Barcelona even with Pedri or Gavira.
