After opting not to renew his contract with Bayern Munich, Kenan Yildiz's decision to sign for Juventus rather than Barcelona continues to garner attention.
The German playmaker was recently unveiled by the Turin side, with so many analysts praising them for the signing.
In fact, Tuttosport have already included Yildiz as a candidate for the next Golden Boy, the award that recognizes the best U21 footballer in the world and that went to Pedri last season.
The German of Turkish origin will face stiff competition for playing time in Turin, but it's the first step forward for a player born in May 2005 who was still playing for the U19 Bayern Munich team a few weeks ago.
He'll begin by playing for Juventus' Primavera (youth) team, but they are convinced he's destined for big things.
Bayern replace Yildiz with another gem
With Yildiz gone, Bayern have moved quickly to replace him. They are close to signing another player born in 2005, Mathys Tel.
L'Equipe say the German giants have already seen an offer of 22 million euros turned down, though they're expected to make another bid.
Reports out of Germany suggest Tel and Bayern have already agreed terms, meaning an agreement between the two clubs is all that is needed to make the deal official.
