Coleen Rooney reportedly wants her brother to chaperone husband Wayne as he returns to the United States.
Manchester United legend Wazza, 36, is heading back stateside as manager of MLS side DC United. According to the The Sun, Coleen is believed to have suggested that her brother Anthony McLoughlin go with Rooney across the pond to keep a close eye on him while she remains in the UK.
Rooney, Coleen and the rest of the family moved to Washington in June 2018 when the former England star joined DC as a player. But they struggled to settle and Rooney was involved in a number of embarrassing incidents.
The footballer was arrested in December 2018 for being drunk at Dulles airport. Some months later he was pictured with a barmaid on a boozy night out in Florida.
Coleen's brother Anthony is understood to have played a similar role in chaperoning Rooney three years ago, while a security member is also likely to join him stateside this time around, it has been reported.

A source told The Sun: "Wayne has assured Coleen he won’t let her down. Things are different to when he was a player and he needs to lead by example on and off the field so he won’t be slipping back into bad habits. But Coleen is still worried.
"Although she trusts Wayne she knows he can be easily led which is why she’d like her brother or one of Wayne’s brothers to be out there too to keep an eye on him. It would make Coleen feel a lot happier.
"It’s something they did before. It helped to keep her up to date with what was going on, and Coleen wants to keep a close eye on him."

Sources close to the pair reportedly said Rooney's return to the United States was made with "her full blessing." During the Wagatha Christie trial earlier this year, Coleen revealed she "cried every night" after the family, including kids Kai, 12, Klay, nine, Kit, six, and Cass, four, made the move across the pond.
