Reports from Tuttosport claim that Juventus have made their first contact with Villarreal, asking about the possibility of a transfer for Pau Torres.

With Bayern Munich chasing Matthijs de Ligt, Juventus originally looked at Kalidou Koulibaly as their number one replacement, but it now appears that the Napoli centre-back is close to a move to Chelsea.

Now according to Tuttosport, Juventus will look to strengthen the defense line to Spain international Pau Torres.

At the same time, another media Italian Sky Sports said that Villarreal's current asking price for Pau Torres will not be less than 50 million euros, which exceeds Juventus' expectation.
