7M Exclusive - Chelsea want £7million to sell Azpilicueta

Chelsea's £7m bid for Azpilicueta has stalled negotiations with Barcelona, according to the Daily Mail.

Barcelona have offered Azpilicueta a lucrative two-year deal, but they are in talks with Chelsea for a fee. Burley met with Laporta last week, and Barca have offered Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso contracts, hoping Chelsea will release him for free or at a lower price.

But Chelsea are reluctant to do so and the blues are now hoping to recoup the ￡7m fee Azpilicueta signed for in 2012. Meanwhile, the publication said that during Burley's meeting with Joan Laporta last week, Chelsea asked durst about his situation, but negotiations did not progress.
