7M Exclusive - Chelsea may bring Slonina for €10m

According to Italian journalist, Chelsea has reached a verbal agreement with Chicago Fire on the transfer of goalkeeper Gabriel Slonina for an expected transfer fee of 10 million euros.

The journalist pointed out that Chelsea was close to signing Slonina in January this year, and they continued to pursue the 18-year-old American goalkeeper in the summer window, and have reached a verbal agreement with Chicago Fire for a transfer fee of 10 million euros.

However, Chicago Fire are watching the situation to see if the deal will break down again after Cech's departure.

Gabriel Slonina, whose contract with Chicago Fire expires in December 2023, has appeared in 18 games so far this season, conceding 24 goals and keeping 7 clean sheets.
