Almost immediately after his big-money move was confirmed, Richarlison took to his Instagram story to share an old picture of him against his new local rivals.

The fiery forward posted a snap of himself in action against Arsenal from the 2019-20 season at the Emirates.

In the image, midfielder Dani Ceballos is laying on the ground injured with Richarlison squaring up to Hector Bellerin.

Though Arsenal fans will have the last laugh from that picture as the ex-Watford ace ended up on the losing side from the match.

Still, Tottenham fans were loving his attempt to wind up their North London counterparts.

One user tweeted: "Richarlison on Instagram, my s***thouse."

Another posted: "I’m gonna enjoy Richarlison rattling Arsenal fans. What a s***house."

A third added: "Richarlison’s Instagram he’s already proper Spurs."

This supporter then commented: "Arsenal fans have been fully rattled by Richarlison's story. I'm gonna love this guy."

One then said: "Richarlison having the entire Arsenal fanbase on strings 24 hours after signing is exactly what I’m here for."

Another simply stated: "This is what Tottenham fans love to see."

Commenting on his transfer in an Instagram video, the 2019 Copa America winner said: "Hi, it's Richarlison.

"I am so happy to sign for Tottenham. See you and come on you Spurs."
