7M Exclusive - Man Utd confident to sign Malacia

Manchester United continue to push for negotiations for Tyrell Malacia and are confident of bringing in the Feyenoord left-back.

Manchester United will reportedly need to negotiate personal terms with Malacia next, which may have no obstacle. The Dutch defender is going to be Erik ten Hag's first signing for Manchester United.

The 22-year-old Malacia comes from the Feyenoord youth academy and has made 136 appearances and five for the Dutch national team.

In addition, Manchester United will continue to try to bring in Frenkie de Jong next.

The potential deal is reportedly 90% advanced, with only a few details left to be finalized, and is expected to be completed this week. Manchester United will pay an initial fee of £55 million, with a transfer fee of up to £70 million.
