According to The Times, United will continue to push for midfield signings this summer, as they will not let McTominay go and are keeping a close eye on Tielemans.
United will also try to bring in new midfielders following the signing of Frenkie de Jong. With Paul Pogba, Frank Lingard, Juan Mata and Nemanja Matic all gone, United need to add new midfielders. United have made an offer for Eriksen, who is set to become a free agent. It is said that Leicester City's Tielemans is also a target for United. However, it is unclear exactly where the Belgian midfielder would rank on Erik ten Hag's list of favourites. Tielemans, 25, is contracted to Leicester until the summer of next year.
United are also eyeing Ajax winger Anthony but are unlikely to meet the club's asking price of 70 million pounds.
Meanwhile, United will not accept any offers for McTominay this summer and Erik ten Hag sees the Scotland international as an important part of his squad. Newcastle, along with another Premier League club, have recently inquired about McTominay's situation and he is happy to remain at old Trafford.
On the other hand, Ghana, who impressed on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, will be given a chance in pre-season training.
