Former Manchester United star Phil Bardsley has secret romps with his wife at home in order to stop him cheating on her.
He married Tanya Robinson in 2014, with the glamour model also being one of the original cast members of ITV show The Real Housewives of Cheshire. That wedding came six years after he left United, having failed to establish himself in their first-team after graduating from the Red Devils' academy.
After leaving Old Trafford, Bardsley spent time at Sunderland, Stoke City and Burnley. And his wife has since delivered an insight into how she keeps her football star husband from straying away from her.
"I still really fancy Phil and find him attractive, even more than I did when we met. It’s probably because I’ve trained him up. My mum has always said to be, 'Look after your man – otherwise another woman will’. It’s just like watering a garden – it doesn’t take long and you have to maintain it," she told Closer magazine in February.
"Some people don’t have it regularly and that’s fine, there’s no right or wrong, but to me if you’re not having sex, then it would feel like the friend zone. I’d be worried if I wasn’t having sex all the time!
"It can be hard with the kids around, even if they catch us giving each other a kiss, they’ll go, 'Urgh!' My youngest boy insists on sleeping on your bedroom floor even though he’s got his own room, and that can sometimes be a hindrance.

"We still manage it every day, even if we’re hiding somewhere in the house! It only lasts two minutes so it’s not that much of an effort. We just have to grab it when we can, like, 'Quick, quick, quick!' We’re quite lucky we have a house that has four floors so it’s easier to get away and we’ve got places to escape to. Like the bog!"
Bardsley is currently without a club having left the Clarets after their relegation from the Premier League. That will give him plenty of time to hide away from his children for his secret romps with his wife.
