Messi and Fabregas holiday together on private island off Ibiza

Their mansion costs 300,000 euros a week to rent

Summer vacations see footballing friends from around the world reunite, and this summer Lionel Messi and his wife Antonela Roccuzzo have joined Cesc Fabregas and his wife Daniella Semaan as they have gone on a family holiday.

The party of 10, including three children from each couple, have travelled to a private island, Isla Sa Ferradura, which is just off of Ibiza's Bay of San Miguel.

The two footballers have been friends since they met in Barcelona's youth system and played together for the club's first team before Fabregas returned to England.

The mansion

The friends are staying in one of Ibiza's most luxurious accommodation options at a mansion with six bedrooms, a swimming pool and an on-site gym.

What's more, 22 members of staff are available on call to serve Messi and Fabregas and their families.

The mansion is available to rent at a cost of 300,000 euros per week, and they also have a luxury yacht, Shalimar II, which features a VIP suite, for if they get tired of being on land.

Reunited in France

Both players plied their trade in Ligue 1 last season, with Messi at Paris Saint-Germain and Fabregas playing for Monaco.

The latter's contract has now expired and he will now look for a new adventure as he approaches the end of his career, but first he will enjoy some luxurious holidays.
