Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea recently spoke to United Daily about the difficulties he faced when he first joined the club.
De Gea said: "When I first came to Manchester I was 19 or 20 years old and I came with my mum and dad so my English was really bad at the beginning and it was very difficult for me.
"Everything was different from when I was in Spain, different people, better players, so it was difficult at the beginning. But step by step I learned English, talked more with the other players and now it's like home."
De Gea said he even misses Manchester when he goes back to Spain: "It really feels like home to me now."
"Even when I go back to Madrid for holidays or other things, I miss the houses and the people, and to be here and to be part of the history of this club is really great, it's a privilege."
