Zidane is still without a team since he left Real Madrid. Despite not having such a long career, his coaching talent and quality in the dugout was demonstrated by winning three Champions League titles with Los Blancos.
Now, PSG and the France national team are his main options, but Zidane is still undecided about returning to coaching.
In an interview with Telefoot, the French legend recalled some moments of his career on the pitch. But he also spoke about his future as a coach, where he is keeping the door open, but does not know when he will be back in the dugout.
"Can I still contribute things as a coach? Yes, many, or I think some. I want to continue because I still have the illusion, it's my passion," Zidane explained.
How did he achieve the three Champions League titles?
The 'Magician' revealed what was the key to his historic success with Los Merengues. The most important point was the work, but also the people who surrounded him at the club. From the players to the team he put together to face one of the most difficult challenges for any coach, managing Real Madrid.
"We worked hard, we had incredible players, and a team that followed me," he added.
"I was responsible for a lot of things, but I had a great team behind me.
"Alone it wouldn't have been possible. I need to surround myself with people I feel comfortable with. If not, it can't work."
The talk also touched on topics such as the 1998 World Cup and the 2006 World Cup final, where he spoke again about the header against Materazzi. The Panenka-like goal against Gianluigi Buffon in the final and the historic goal against Leverkusen in the Champions League final.
