Gareth Bale's sad farewell to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and Real Madrid.

The Welshman was dropped by Carlo Ancelotti in what would have been his last game at the Bernabeu, and he will watch Real Madrid take on Betis from the stands.

Bale was included in the squad for the match against Real Betis, but was not included by the Real Madrid coach among the team's substitutes.

Among them are Marcelo and Isco, who, like Bale, will play their last home game for Real Madrid before the end of their contracts on June 30.

The Welshman will thus watch his last game at the Bernabeu, where he has hardly been seen in recent months, from the players' box.

In fact, he wasn't even at the game that crowned his team as LaLiga Santander champions.

Some "spams" in his back meant he watched the match against Espanyol and the subsequent celebrations on television.

Bale, however, will have one last chance to say goodbye to Real Madrid as Los Blancos still have one game to play, the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 28 in Paris.

Nevertheless, it seems very difficult, if not impossible, that Bale will appear on the pitch in Saint-Denis.

If he wasn't even on the bench for the match against Real Betis, which is totally irrelevant for Real Madrid from a strictly sporting point of view, then he will likely not play for the club again.
