United cannot wait for the current campaign to end as they struggle to finish in the top six and reports of two players being pulled apart for fighting this week in training.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been spotted posing in Man Utd's new red home kit

The club are about to enter a new era with Erik ten Hag due to take charge after agreeing a deal to join them from Ajax.

And now the shirts that the Dutchman’s stars will be wearing under him have been revealed by the United Stand.

Snaps have gone viral showing the new red Adidas jersey, which appears to have taken inspiration from their 1998-99 treble winning season.

Sporting a white collar, it includes the famous Adidas three stripes down the arms with the company’s logo on the right breast, and United’s badge on the opposite side.

The sight of Ronaldo posing in it, as well as the new away and third kits, will be a welcome relief and ease doubts of the 37-year-old’s future.

And he was also joined by a host of team-mates, such as Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho, Hannibal Mejbri, Anthony Elanga and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, in being pictured with the kit on.

The away kit also appears to be another throwback to ‘99, with a white jersey and black trim - that includes the shield badge used in that season.

And the third strip takes a more 'hi-vis' approach with the images appearing to show a yellow theme.

Both Alex Telles and United women's star Ella Toone are also pictured wearing that one.

All the photos appear to be part of an upcoming official release, although the club have yet to confirm it.

United still have one game remaining of their turbulent campaign, they travel to Crystal Palace next Sunday on the final day of the Premier League.
