Marcos Alonso: Another option for Barcelona
Chelsea left-back wants to return to Spain

Ahead of next season, Barcelona are keen to try and bring in a left-back to provide extra competition in this position.
The club are on the lookout for a player to fight with Jordi Alba for the starting position, and there are several names being considered by the club's sporting management.
One of them, according to Fabrizio Romano, is Chelsea's Marcos Alonso.
"More on Marcos Alonso. He is respectful to Chelsea, but his priority is to return to Spain this summer," Fabrizio Romano posted on Twitter.
"Barcelona have already initiated direct contacts to know the intentions and the possible price. He is a serious candidate among the 3/4 options for Barcelona's new left-back."

He's a serious candidate among 3/4 options for the new Barça left back.
The cost
A move for Marcos Alonso would be one of the most difficult among the candidates and it would also be relatively expensive, which further complicates his potential arrival at the Camp Nou. Nevertheless, the 31-year-old is one of those on the table for Barcelona.
Tagliafico
One of the other players that Barcelona have in their sights for the left-back position is Ajax's Nicolas Tagliafico. The Argentinian defender has admitted that he has been in contact with Barcelona for some time now.
"Barcelona? I know there was interest - the clubs spoke - but the deal was complicated and there was no agreement in January. I think now, in June, it will be easier," Tagliafico told TNT Sports.
