Paul Pogba 'leaves Man Utd WhatsApp group and tells team-mates he is quitting club after receiving two transfer offers'

PAUL POGBA has left Manchester United's WhatsApp group ahead of his summer exit, according to reports.

The Frenchman has almost certainly played his last game for the Red devils after limping off early during their 4-0 battering at Liverpool last week.

Pogba, 29, is out of contract at the end of June and has turned down Man United's extension offers.

According to the Mirror he has told team-mates that he is off at the end of the season.

And he appears to have begun the process of checking out of Old Trafford by leaving the squad's WhatsApp group.

Pogba is said to have had offers from Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, who are ready to vie for his signature following his United exit.

The midfielder is one of a trio of free agents who Madrid are attempting to sign, with Antonio Rudiger and Kylian Mbappe also on their wishlist.

Pogba's relationship with United fans hit a new low during their recent 3-2 win over Norwich, his last appearance at Old Trafford, when he cupped his ear at supporters as he was jeered off.

He appeared to try and row back on his actions, tweeting during Saturday's 3-1 defeat at Arsenal: "Absolutely gutted to not be able to help the team in today's game.

"I will work even harder to come back stronger and hopefully before the end of the season.

"It's not over 💪🏾 Thank you all for your support, United we would stand!"

He made no secret of his unhappiness while speaking on international duty with France in March, however.

The 91-cap ace said: "It's simple with France - I play and I play in my position. I know my role and I feel the confidence of the coach and the players.

"It's normal to feel a difference at Manchester United because it's hard to be consistent when you often have a change to your position, or the team system, or your partners… do I really have a role?

"I ask the question but I don't have an answer."
