A fan has filmed himself taunting Mason Greenwood as the suspended Manchester United player gets set to find out if he'll face rape charges.

The video shows the man, described to be a 'traveller' in the text on the TikTok video, approaching Greenwood who puts his hand up to the camera. After that, the individual then appears to say "s****y a***" and "pushing the wrong guy" before the short clip ends.

Greenwood was arrested on suspicion of rape, sexual assault and making threats to kill earlier this year. He was held for three days before being granted bail, which The Mirror reported expires on April 30, but it could be extended.

According to The Sun, police are due to 'imminently' submit a report to the Crown Prosecution Service. After that, a decision is expected to follow within days.

A source claimed: "He’s still on bail but things are at an advanced stage. The police and CPS are currently discussing if there is a case or not to bring against him.

"There comes a point where a decision has to be made and things have reached that point." A second source reiterated: "The police will submit their file imminently."

The 20-year-old was pictured wearing a balaclava earlier this month in the first images to emerge of him since his arrest. He was seen driving his car in the centre of Altrincham, Greater Manchester with friends.

Greenwood, who is a one-time England international, was immediately suspended by United, but the club are contractually obliged to continue paying his £75k-per-week wages.

He was also released from his contract with sportswear brand Nike and EA Sports removed him from the latest edition of their video game FIFA. Greenwood made his senior debut for the Red Devils in March 2019 and he has made a total of 129 appearances for the club.
