Arsenal given significant advantage over Juventus in pursuit of Morata

Arsenal are launching a new bid for Atletico Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spain striker is currently on loan with Juventus.

Corriere Dello Sport - via SportsWitness - says Morata would be keen on joining the Gunners.

The source claims that Atleti have received a £25m bid from Arsenal to sign the 29-year-old.

Morata does not want to return to Madrid at the end of the season.

Juventus are also interested in signing the former Chelsea striker.

However, the Bianconeri are only prepared to pay £12.5m for his signature.
