AC Milan held to draw with Bologna but stay top of Serie A

AC Milan could only draw 0-0 against Bologna at the Stadio San Siro on Monday night, which comes as a disappointment for the Rossoneri's supporters after Napoli and Inter both recorded wins over the weekend.
Napoli in second place went level with Milan on points at the top of the Serie A table after winning at Atalanta, but Monday's point for Stefano Pioli's side means they are once again the outright leaders in the Italian top flight. Inter, meanwhile, won away at Juventus, but they now find themselves four points behind their cross-city rivals.
The best chance of the first half at the San Siro on Monday night saw Olivier Giroud's header saved by Bologna shot-stopper Lukasz Skorupski, and despite Zlatan Ibrahimovic's entrance in the second half, the Rossoneri were unable to find a way through the Rossoblu's defence.
Next weekend, Inter take on Hellas Verona on Saturday before Napoli face Fiorentina and Torino welcome Milan on Sunday.
