Romelu Lukaku looks to have ruined his relationship with Chelsea supporters
Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku could leave the club after just one season of the five-year contract he was handed while being made their £97.5million record signing.
Despite having a fine start to life during his second spell at Stamford Bridge with three goals across his opening three Premier League appearances, the Belgian has managed only two in his next 16.
The alarming drop in form came after his disastrous interview with Italian media in which he suggested that he regretted his move to Stamford Bridge and would return to the San Siro to play with his former team-mates in the near future.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Lukaku remains in discontent over his current situation at Chelsea and will explore exit options in the summer.
They add that Inter Milan are 'not giving up' on bringing their former star striker back to the club.
Lukaku earned himself icon status with Inter after scoring 64 goals across 95 matches and firing them to Serie A glory under the guidance of Antonio Conte last season.
That move came after a tricky spell with Manchester United having shone for Everton after failing to impress during an initial spell with Chelsea.

"I'm just not very happy with the situation, but that's normal. I think the boss (Thomas Tuchel) has decided to play a different formation but I have to stick at it and get on with it professionally.
