According to Sport Witness, L'Equipe claim that Arsenal could offer Alexandre Lacazette a short-term deal if both parties are open to him staying.

It's believed the Gunners are only offering one-year deals with a one-year extension for any player that's over 30-years-old.

Former club Lyon are said to be keeping an eye on the situation should they fail to agree on anything.

Van Nistelrooy handed PSV job

According to ED, Ruud van Nistelrooy will become PSV's manager from the start of the next season and an official announcement will be made soon.

It's understood Fred Rutten will be his assistant and both staff members agreed to the offers presented to them as they succeed Roger Schmidt.

According to Marca, although Barcelona are keen on signing Cesar Azpilicueta for free this summer, Chelsea have an automatic renewal option.

The 30-year-old's current deal is due to expire in 2023 but the Italian giants want to tie him down for at least another three years.

Barca have 'closed two signings' amid Christensen & Kessie links

Barcelona have "closed two signings" amid transfer links with Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessie, according to Joan Laporta, who has also revealed that he hopes a swap deal for on-loan Wolves winger Adama Traore can be arranged.

Christensen is fast approaching the final few months of his contract at Chelsea, who are not currently in a position to offer him fresh terms after seeing the assets of club owner Roman Abramovich frozen amid Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
