Gavi and Araujo reject new contract offers from Barcelona

Gavi and Ronald Araujo have rejected new contract offers from Barcelona.
Marca says both players have turned down the latest respective offers of a new contract from the club.
Barcelona have offered improved terms to Gavi and Araujo in comparison to previous offers, but both players still view these terms as insufficient.
As with other contract negotiations, Barcelona's initial offers to both players were very low before being modified over time.
The same thing happened with Sergi Roberto and Ousmane Dembele, however these contract talks broke down.
Time is of the essence for Barcelona, as these two players are not short of potential suitors across European football.
A number of clubs are interested in Araujo, and Manchester United are favourites for the Uruguayan's signature.
Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the 23-year-old, however this deal looks difficult at the moment given the financial troubles that they are experiencing.
There are also various clubs across Europe that are interested in Gavi, the youngster who was still an unknown prospect last summer.
He is just 17 and would be a brilliant option for anyone who signs him, but up until now his priority has been renewing his Barcelona contract.
