Patrick Bamford was seen bursting into tears when he was forced to limp off the pitch at Molineux on Friday evening.

Bamford, who is just back from a foot injury, was named in Jesse Marsch's starting side for Leeds' clash with Wolves. However, he was forced off the pitch after overstretching for a ball over the top from Rodrigo.

The Englishman was able to keep his composure when leaving the field to be replaced by youngster Sam Greenwood. However Bamford pulled his shirt over his head began to cry when sitting on the bench - where he was consoled by Liam Cooper.

And Leeds' bad luck continued when Diego Llorente was forced off with what appeared to be a back injury for Robin Koch.

Koch was then involved in a clash of heads with Mateusz Klich - who was subsequently forced off with a concussion substitute for Charlie Cresswell.

Leeds were already without Raphinha due to a positive Covid test, while Kalvin Phillips and Cooper were on the bench coming back from injuries themselves.

When he sustained that injury, Bamford had only been back for 22 minutes from an ankle problem that had kept him out for another three months.
