Neymar could leave PSG over the summer

Newcastle are reportedly keeping tabs on Neymar - who could leave Paris over the summer after being booed by his own fans.

PSG's 3-0 win over Bordeaux last weekend was overshadowed by the Parisian fans booing both Neymar, who found the net, and Lionel Messi. The French giants were still reeling from another Champions League exit from a winning position against Real Madrid.

And according to Spanish outlet Fichajes, the Magpies could swoop in for the Brazilian this summer. Newcastle are reportedly looking for a mega-money signing who could act as the poster boy for the new era at St James' Park.

Eddie Howe's side are one of the richest clubs on the planet, and once Premier League safety is confirmed they could start splashing the cash.

Neymar would command a monster fee after already smashing the transfer record into history with his £198million move to France. And he is believed to already earn around £500,000-a-week in wages.

However, according to the same report, Newcastle will face tough competition from Manchester City and Barcelona.

Neymar could make a sensational switch back to Catalonia after leaving in 2019 to take centre stage in Paris.

And with the new sponsorship deal with Spotify, that has helped to relieve Barca's financial pressure, Neymar could make the move.
