Never one to be outdone, midfielder Christian Eriksen is experiencing a second life nine months after suffering a cardiac arrest while playing for Denmark. What seemed like a miracle in saving his life is now magnifying his experience as he is close to returning to play for his national team.

Many did not understand that Eriksen died on the pitch and came back to life, which made his return to professional soccer and now his return to the Danish team even more incredible after being called up by coach Kasper Hjulmand.

"Christian is in a pretty good physical condition. I saw him against Burnley last Saturday where he was the best player on the pitch. He is a player who thinks faster than most people do," Hjulmand said when questioned about Eriksen.
