Jude Bellingham makes decision over Dortmund future amid Man Utd and Liverpool interest

Jude Bellingham is said to have made a decision over his future at Borussia Dortmund following continued transfer links to the Premier League with Manchester United and Liverpool

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham is said to have made a decision over his future at the club amid ongoing links to Premier League rivals Manchester United and Liverpool.

The former Birmingham City prodigy has been among the star performers under Marco Rose this season - but his frustrations have at times got the better of him with their chances of silverware looking worse than bleak.

That has led to further rumours that the 18-year-old could push for a move away from the club in the summer, with Dortmund known for making huge profits after nurturing talent.

However, the latest update suggests that those interested could be blocked in any attempts to sign the England midfielder this summer - as he plans to stay put.

The Metro reports that Bellingham, who has six goals and 10 assists so far this season in all competitions, will stay at Dortmund for at least one more full season.

Bellingham is under contract at the club until the summer of 2025, and looks to be keen on continuing his development in Germany until at least June of 2023.

In what has been an underwhelming season, Dortmund lost in the DFL-Supercup to Bayern Munich, were knocked out of the DFB Cup by St. Pauli, beaten in the Europa League by Rangers and have fallen eight points behind the Bundesliga leaders.

In addition, Bellingham raised eyebrows by slamming team-mate Nico Schulz during their Europa League exit, forcing an explanation from manager Marco Rose.

"Where Jude comes from, you possibly speak a bit more rough in English. That's part of it," he said.

"Jude wants to win, he's angry and that's part of him as a player.

"It's something we actually need more of at Dortmund."
