Manchester City are reportedly regarded as frontrunners, ahead of clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona, in the race to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland this summer.
The two LaLiga Santander giants are also interested in acquiring the services of the talented Norway international in their bid to strengthen their attacks ahead of next season.
However, according to Bild, it is the Sky Blues who are now considered to be the favourites to land Haaland after failing to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
The German publication has also revealed that the 21-year-old star will decide next month which club he wants to join in summer. A 75 million euro buyout clause is reportedly set to come this summer for potential suitors.
Real Madrid, who are also interested in signing Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer in summer, have set sights on Haaland in their bid to beef up their attacking line.
Meanwhile, Barcelona have not ruled out making a move for the Norway international despite their financial struggles following the COVID-19 outbreak.
Haaland has stood out with his performances at Borussia Dortmund, having scored a whopping 80 goals in 79 games for the Bundesliga side according to Transfermarkt.
