A new Batman film is set to release next week and Havertz clearly could not contain his excitement.

But the attacking midfielder may be regretting the decision to get a tattoo of his beloved superhero after he was trolled by team-mates for the ink.

Antonio Rudiger replied to Havertz's Twitter post simply by laughing at the decision to get inked up.

But Blues skipper Cesar Azpilicueta went a bit further.

Initially he commented: "Hope this is the sticker from the chips and will be removed after a shower."

Azpilicueta then shared a photo of himself alongside Havertz after Chelsea's Champions League win last season.

And he captioned the snap: "Hope you don't tattoo this bro, love you. #KingKai."

Havertz has since deleted his tweet, perhaps out of embarrassment but also to stop the ribbing he received from team-mates.

The German may wish to concentrate on his football instead as he has hit good goalscoring form recently.

He scored in the win over Lille on Tuesday and could continue to keep misfiring Romelu Lukaku out of the side, as Chelsea appear to perform better without the Belgian.
