Shocking scenes followed Nottingham Forest's third goal on Sunday as a Leicester City fan ran onto the pitch and started throwing punches at the celebrating players
A Leicester City supporter has disgraced his club after running onto the pitch to attack a group of Nottingham Forest players following the home side's third goal in the FA Cup fourth round tie on Sunday.
Incredible footage, captured by fans inside the stadium, shows a man emerge from the away end at before running up and throwing a series of punches at the celebrating players.
The hooligan was shoved in retaliation by a couple of Forest players before being grabbed and hauled to the ground by stewards.
"Whoever that so called fan was who ran on to the pitch throwing punches at @NFFC’s players should be banned for life by @LCFC. An embarrassment and a disgrace," tweeted Gary Lineker.

"Absolutely insane! What a lunatic," tweeted another fan.
A second wrote: "Why are the two policemen just standing there watching?"
Leicester City released a statement after the game, insisting they were "appalled" by the behaviour of the fan.
"We applaud swift action taken by stewards in apprehending individual who will be subject to a lifetime ban from all @LCFC fixtures at home and away," the statement read.

It comes after a number of Leicester fans were seen smashing the windows of a pub in Nottingham city centre by throwing tables and chairs at the glass prior to the game.
Goals from Philip Zinckernagel, Brennan Johnson and Joe Worrall saw Forest race into a 3-0 lead during a remarkable first 45 minutes at the City Ground.

The Foxes pulled one back through Kelechi Iheanacho, but Forest defender Djed Spence settled the tie by adding a fourth in the second half.
Steve Cooper's side advance to the fifth round of the competition to face Huddersfield after winning what was the first meeting between the two rivals since 2014.
It's the second Premier League side Forest have dumped out of the cup, following their 1-0 win over Arsenal last month.
