Departures in the winter market look unlikely before the deadline

Real Madrid are in a fantastic position at this point of the 2021/22 season and the club is very much a positive place to be, and perhaps this is working to Los Blancos' detriment as nobody wants to leave the club in January.
Carlo Ancelotti knows who is in his favoured matchday squad, and as such there are players who aren't necessarily needed for the remainder of the campaign.
In recent seasons the January window has been a time for Real Madrid players who weren't getting minutes to leave, as happened with Alvaro Odriozola and Andriy Lunin in 2020.
However, 2022 has seen a change with the phone barely ringing at Valdebebas, with none of the club's players looking to make a change, even those who don't play.
Only Luka Jovic would have left, but Los Blancos need him in the case that Karim Benzema suffers an injury.
Gareth Bale, Marcelo and Isco will all be available on free transfers on June 30, and the club was willing to sanction a deal for any and all of the trio this January, but no offers have been forthcoming.
Movement with Bale and Isco could happen before the deadline, it can't be totally ruled out, but to say it is expected in Madrid would be a lie.
Eden Hazard is another player who isn't enjoying the amount of game time he is receiving right now, but moving him out of the club will be complex due to the fact he has three years left on his significant contract.
Injuries have once again curtailed the Belgian's progress, with the 2021/22 season actually beginning with him as a starter for Carlo Ancelotti, but those days are very much in the rear-view mirror.
Jesus Vallejo and Mariano Diaz will continue to wait for a chance that seems impossible, yet they don't wish to leave the club, meaning that Los Blancos expect a very quiet end to the winter market.
