Neymar is on track to return in time to feature in Paris Saint-Germain's Champions League last-16 clash against Real Madrid, with the first leg set to take place in the French capital on February 15.
The 29-year-old got injured against Saint-Etienne on November 28, damaging ligaments in his left ankle.
The Brazilian then began a period of recuperation, which he continued during his Christmas holidays in his homeland.
Although Neymar returned to Paris a week later than his PSG teammates, he had the permission of the club and was understood to have appreciated having time to be with his family, all while following the plan set out by his club's medical staff.
And now Le Parisien report that Neymar is expecting to feature in the February 15 tie at the Parc des Princes.
