Antonio Conte outlines what Tottenham need to improve despite unbeaten run

Tottenham hammer Crystal Palace

Tottenham would face off with Crystal Palace at 3 pm on Sunday.

Spurs headed into the game in fine form, whilst Palace were still on a very patchy run and struggling for wins.

So, it was not too surprising to see Tottenham run away with a comfortable 3-0 win.

Harry Kane and Lucas Moura netted strikes in the 32nd and 34th minute to put the Lilywhites in front, before a Wilfried Zaha red card just a few minutes later killed off any hope the Eagles had of picking up a win on the day.

Tottenham dominated from there and eventually came away with a 3-0 victory after Heung-min Son added a 3rd with 16 minutes remaining.

Conte outlines what Tottenham need to improve

Tottenham are now unbeaten in six league outings under Conte and also picked up a 2-1 win over West Ham in the quarter-finals of the League Cup.

Despite this fine start, Conte has, post-Crystal Palace, outlined where Spurs need to improve.

And, as per Conte, Tottenham need to be less emotional, improve the personality, improve possession, improve decisions, the final pass and finishing:

"I tell my players to play football with personality and try to make the best decisions. I think during the game sometimes we live emotional moments and I think we have to improve this aspect.

"We have players with quality, top players in the team, and now we have to improve the personality, control the game, improve the possession, improve the decisions, the final pass, the finishing. I think we can improve a lot in these aspects. [Against Palace] we created a lot of chances and we could have scored more.

"We need to improve the confidence and [show] more personality, to play football and to control more the game.

"Sometimes we lose the control and I think a great team, a big team has to stay in [control in] every moment."
